  3. Aligning the instrument

  5. While looking through the eyepiece, use the 
  6. joystick to position the instrument such that 
  7. the central two red cross patterns reflected 
  8. from the cornea are positioned in the center 
  9. of the circle.  There will be two additional 
  10. patterns in the peripheral which are not used 
  11. in the measurement.
